Order Your Cake 

Please fill out the form below to order your custom cake/cupcakes. Due to the time it takes to plan, and purchase ingredients and supplies, please fill out this form as soon as you are able to. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible!

Policies

​

Deposits 

  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required for all orders.  Deposits are due a minimum of one week prior to the date of pickup.  If I'm able to accept an order with less than a week's notice, the deposit is due at the time of the order.  Your order is confirmed, and your date secured, once the deposit is paid.

  • If an order is cancelled, any payment made on your order is non-refundable. If canceled at least 7 days prior to the pick up date and time, I will be happy to transfer the deposit made on that order to another order within 3 months from that date.

Payment Information

  • Full payment is due at the time of pick up.  I accept cash or e-transfer.  Customers paying by e-transfer must wait until the e-transfer has been received before leaving with their order.

Refunds / Exchanges 

  • Due to the nature of my products, I am unable to provide refunds or exchanges.

  • Once you, or a designated party, have picked up an order, it is considered accepted.

  • All products are the responsibility of the customer once picked up. I am not responsible for any damage occurring to an order during transport, set-up or any time thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake or cupcakes upon pick up. Keep in mind that cakes and cupcakes are very fragile, and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc.

  • Flavor and texture is subjective. Refunds requested due to flavor or texture  will not be honored. You may qualify for a percentage of a store credit* if the product is brought back and the quality of the flavor or texture is determined to not meet my standards. Orders must be returned within 24 hours of pick up - please dm, or email me promptly to inform me of the issue. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Sophisticated Sweets.

    • *Store credit percentages are based on how quickly the order is returned, how much has been consumed, and what I determine the quality to be. Store credits of any kind will not be issued to customers who do not contact me within 24 hours. 

 

The following scenarios are the only instances in which I will provide a refund:

  •  If, when you come to pick up your order; or if upon delivery, the cake or cupcakes do not meet your expectations, I will refund your deposit in the form of a store credit (no cash/money refunds will be given). 

    • Note: If I give you a refund, you CANNOT keep the cake or cupcakes. You will only receive a refund (in the form of store credit) if you refuse to “accept” the order.  I am not responsible for any expenses you may incur for replacing your order.

  • If you've placed your order, and paid the deposit, but need to cancel for any reason, you may do so PRIOR to one week (7 days) before the pick up date, and I will issue a refund in the form of a store credit (no cash/money refunds will be given).​

  • If I am unable to fulfill your order, for any reason, due to an unforeseen circumstance, I will fully refund your deposit in the form of cash/money.  I am not responsible for any expenses you may incur for replacing your order.

 

Cancellation / Changes

  • Changes to your order can be made up to one week (7 days) prior to the pick up date.  Change requests may or may not be accommodated less than one week prior to pick up.

  • If an order is cancelled, any payment made on your order is non-refundable. If canceled at least 7 days prior to the pick up date and time, I will be happy to transfer the deposit made on that order to another order within 3 months from that date.

  • If an order is cancelled within 48 hours of the pick up date, you must pay the full amount of the order.

 

Guarantee / Disclaimer 

  • Every order is hand-made. Decorative finishes are done by hand and are subject to my artistic interpretation. You may provide me with a photograph for inspiration; however, I make no claims for exact duplication/replication of work done by other bakers.
